Artist History Patricia and Chris met in another band fronted by a lunatic poet. Enamored with Patricia's voice, Chris joined the band, a confused jumble of Bay Area misfits, only to have his life threatened by the drunken psychotic frontman. "Patricia and I had come up with a few songs in that band and we seemed to work well together, so I called her up to bail on the frontman. Nobody likes the threat of having their head smashed in by an empty tequila bottle. So I stole her to start a new band, and here we are today."Komodo is based out of the Bay Area, California. Patricia is from Brazil and speaks a lot of strangelanguages. She gets excited about live shows. Sometimes she is bad, then she gets put in thedoghouse, hence her nickname. She has an unconcerned ability to create and record crystallinehaunting vocals on the first take. Chris is from the Bahamas. He gets excited about recording and issometimes pushy, hence his nickname. Since childhood, he has played the drums, later mutating intosamplers and computers. We believe that Patricia and Chris are pretty different people, it makes forinteresting music. They both like to beat on drums at the same time; it adds beast to the mix.

Group Members Patricia Fernandes (Doghouse) adds angelic vocals to Chris Kirkham's (Pushy)acoustic-meets-electronic, emotionally dynamic creations. Their songs lean towards art that functionsbest if given close attention.
