Artist description As a keyboard-soloist he writes instrumental songs, from film-setting to rock virtuosity. He performs in a duet (with a drummer) and manages to arouse curiosity around himself both romantic and technological. Giuseppe Iampieri graduated in "Organ and Organ Composition" with distinction at the Academy of Music "A. Casella" (L’Aquila - ITALY), where he also studied "Electronic Music" and "Experimental Composition". He has played concerts in Italy and abroad as organist and pianist with several bands, playing both classic-modern repertoires and his own. He distinguished himself at the "Colonia Study Of Phonology", at the "International Academy Of Friburgo" and at the "Musical Unversity Of Korea". He has co-operated for several years with well known actor Sergio Meogrossi (Vittorio Gassman School), with whom he has produced some plays, for example "Viva l’Italia" written and developed with Sergio Meogrossi and Fabio Bussotti, "Fatti Non Foste" based on Dante Alighieri’s "La Divina Commedia", "Goodbye 900" a music-recital of contemporary poetry: for all of the above, he wrote and arranged the original music and was also the executor/interpreter. Giuseppe Iampieri has written music for several documentaries (artistic, advertising, etc.); he has also worked in the computer-graphic field and produced short-films in which image and music are connected as an artistic unit. At the moment, he is busy with the "IMPERATOR" tour ideated by himself and directed by Emil Sauciuc (Romania): not only a great rock project but also involving dance, songs, recital and images linked in a new audio-visual Art! He is also playing with following bands: Sunshine Band, Funk Totum, Disco Inferno, Viracocha. With Viracocha he has released a new album: The Beginning (www.sonicattack.com). Giuseppe Iampieri has also worked as a session keyboard-player, composer and arranger for several "VIPs" of italian pop-music.
