Artist History The Fisticuffs began in 1995 as the bedroom tapes of keyboard player Michael Remiker. In 1997, the band became a duo, with Mike's good friend Andy Christianson joining on guitar. They expanded into a full band in 1999, with Kyle Searls joining on guitar and bass duties, and Aaron Volden taking the role of drummer. The new super-sized Fisties were dubbed the Fisticuffs UK, and the rest is rock and roll history. Christianson split from the band in October of 2000. Recordings of the original incarnation of the two-person Fisties can still be found on mp3.com under the Fisticuffs.
