Artist History Formed in the Spring of 1985 after playing invariousbands Alpha was formed to express original materialbased on a big sound. With the release of their self titled LP "Alpha"in 1987, the band brought together melodic passages with progressive feel to develop what they called Commercial Progressive Rock (CPR).The band continued to play through the early 90's. Brad Sandlin released a solo album "Gnawing at theInfrastructure" in 1991 and Jon Quinn has been involvedin various studio projects. Currently Jon and Brad are finishing various collections of "Alpha" material recorded over the past 10 years.
