Artist History Hailing from Chicago, My Delusion is a female fronted, guitar driven rock band. The project is a collaboration of songwriters Terry Polk and Suzi Finn. Helping out is Producer John Gust, the band finished recording a 4-song EP "Walking Into Black" In 2000 at Studiochicago, engineered by Brian Jenson(James Iha,Filter,Collective Soul). Helping out on the recording, Ted Ansani(x-Material Issue)on backing vocals. The CD showcases My Delusion's diverse musical styles.The has been gigging and developing around the Chicago Area and is now in pre-production to release their second CD. My Delusion is spured on by meeting new faces after a show and compliment the band on such strong songwriting.

Press Reviews Illinois Entertainer May 2001**** "Its all too rare to hear a woman singing straight ahead rock these days, but thats just what My Delusion's Suzi Finn does.. admirable job of wailing over the solid guitar-rock her bandmates provide on Walking into Black. Recalling such female fronted acts as Concrete Blonde and Caterwaul, My Delusion maintains an ethereal, alternative quality while packing a no-frills punch"***** My two and 1/2 year old is charging around the room, like a baby Rhino. m My delusion wailing in the background..."do you like this?" I ask him. he doesn't answer, holding his arms over his head and turning in circles. I am forced to pick him up and hold him upside-down, screaming into his little face.."DO YOU LIKE THIS??!!" Finally, he relents, and in between sobs he manages to eeiikkk out a confession "yes daddy, noah like.." well there you have it. My son and I dig the Chicago pop-ish, rock-ish song "Love And Hate" with the free-bird-like solo thrown in for good measure at the end, like a filthy, cheap, diseased, crack addicted whore...wait... that's the wrong analogy for the wrong band...The guitar rock band My Delusion" has a great tune here. Noah would like to hear more. kvh
