Artist History Steve started sampling music and films back in 1998 under the guise of DJ Magpie and then, going back to more traditional songwriting, teamed up with Graham and simon in April this year to start magpie with a more live sound. All the songs are recorded at home and aren't perfect studio versions, but it gets the songs across.
