Artist History At just 23, Lisa Bentley already knows where her faith is taking her. While this California native has been both an actress and a dancer, her heart lies in singing and songwriting. Lisa's songs have inspirational messages, with a contemporary pop music feeling. She makes use of full and lush arrangements of strings, pianos and horns. Lisa grew up in Southern California, graduating Summa Cum Laude from The University of Southern California, Thornton School of Music and has been singing, dancing and playing various instruments for fifteen years. In Addition to performing numerous concerts in the Los Angeles area (including the renowned Roxy Theatre in Hollywood), Lisa has performed around the world, with concerts in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Japan. She has also performed twice at the annual National Day of Prayer in Washington, DC. Her primary focus right now is her music. "I want to be a positive role model, as music can have such a significant influence on people of all ages," she explains. "I've done other things in my life, but I feel I can express myself best through music, more so than any other medium. I truly feel this is where I'm supposed to be right now... where God has put me and my abilities."
