Press Reviews
From live reviews:"Hard rocking...very polished...a high power act"- Scope Magazine "An awesome live band, both musically and visually" - Ob(zine) "Damn impressive" - The Drum Media "A hot new band...massive stage presence...greatentertainment, with attitude and humour"- 9inety6ix.1 "The most powerful and upbeat set of the night. From the time Rob jumped onto the stage, everyone up there was pogoing for most of the rest of the set. Rob is a man possessed: almost Lydonesque; Matt is also possessed, rumbling those low notes like there's no tomorrow with oft-intricate runs and riffs; and the two guitarists, Andy & Cliff are at two sides of the performance scale: one breaking into the occasional head-bang, leap and W*A*S*P*-styled head-twirl, while the other is more subdued, but no lesser a performer for it! I can't adequately express how extreme the energy was in the room for this band, both on and in front of the stage, heightened of course for the EP tracks Nancy Boy Surprise and their current radio hit Mark Mark. You'll have to check these guys out for yourself!! *****PG (Jacky) Gleeson, Music Reviews Website. From reviews of Heifer's debut EP "Mark Mark": "7 tracks explode out of the stereo and knock your head clean off! Heifer are metal I guess, but they are full on heavy without being inaccessible to most listeners. Dropped D riffs, odd time signatures and catchy choruses keep you interested while the beats and low rumblings of the drums and bass keep your head nodding along. I might just mention the artwork is very cool, too. There's not much chance anyone won't like this (well there's always your gran or that techno guy that sits across from you) and I highly recommend it."- Mark Alston, Ob(zine)."Mark Mark fairly launches the listener into this aural assault, and the rest of the EP follows suit, peaking for mine at the end with "NancyboySurprise" (poofta-bashing with a happy ending) and Prick (a full-on no-holds-barred this-is-how-we-see-life kinda thang)...A great release."
