Artist description Gruv's influences range from 60's rock to today's abstract electronica. When creating the CD, instead of focusing on a specific genre of dance music, Gruv tries to paint a landscape of emotions. Some of the works are fun and bouncy while others are softer and deeper. Each individual track reflects something that Gruv or has felt and hopes to convey to the listener.

Artist History DJ Gruv started his dj life back in 1986 at the tender age of 17. Working in strip clubs that he wasn't even old enough to get into yet, DJ Gruv learned how to work a crowd and connect with his audience. After landing a security job at the infamous 176 Underground in Nashville, TN, DJ Gruv discovered techno and his music and spinning went into new directions. Earning his props as a resident at the Underground, Gruv then traveled to Washington state courtesy of the US Army. Now, living in Chattanooga,TN. Gruv continues to spin at every chance and has released his first CD, " MAGIC & MEYHEM".
