Artist History One of the great Boston bands of the 1990s, Zoot once dominated the weeknight scene at such clubs as the Ratt, TT the Bear's, the Kirkland Cafe, the Middle East, and Bill's Bar. To make a long story short, one of the key band members tragically died of cancer in late 1998. That ended the promising story for Zoot, although David Cameron, one of the masterminds behind the band's distinctive sound, is still plucking away at his guitar, and could very well make a comeback. Look out!
