Artist History
Antonio Restucci, born 1956 In Santiago, Chile, is a composer and virtuoso on guitar and mandolin. Since the beginning of his musical career at theage of 15, he has focused on the study of classical guitar, integrating aspects of Latin-American folk music in his compositions.Today he belongs to the leading guitarists in the genres Jazz and Alternative Music in his country, his band being awarded in 1982 'Best Group in Instrumental Music', in 1986 'Best Group of Latin Jazz', and most recently, the Altazor Award as 'Best Alternative Jazz production' of 1999? for his third album titled 'Vetas', released through Mundo Vivo in Chile.In 1993 his debut album 'La Hebra' has been released through the Alerce label in Chile, 1996 his second release 'Plaza del Angel' through Nazca Music in Holland, and in January 2000 his fourth album, titled 'Cenizas en el Mar', through the artist himself.ˇ |
