Artist description A blend of electric/acoustic blues, folk, and a bit of funk. Reflective, yet powerful, without being preachy and/or saccharin. These are songs about real life and how, just because I'm a Christian, the struggles and hurts don't end. I just have a way to deal with them. Artist History I've been making music in one form or another for about 20 years. I started playing drums in 1980, guitar in 1987, and singing and writing songs in 1992. I was involved in a few college bands, and began writing several original songs in the early to mid 90's. God richly blessed me with many close friends who were instrumental in honing my talents. One person who deserves a lot of credit for helping me unfold my gifts is Cory Kent. Cory and I became very close friends in college, and I can honestly say that it was his sense of professionalism in music that made me want to work harder at being a better musician. Cory also played a key role with the making of this disc. He not only recorded, produced and mixed it, he also played all the bass, piano and keyboard parts. Plus he played the backward guitar solo on "The Other Side of the Sun." Give it a listen. It's very cool. To any fellow Canadians who happen upon this page, a hearty "How's it goin', eh?"
