Artist History In 1995 Alejandro Londońo and his brother Juan Manuel de Ferrari, both guitarists and vocalists, decided to start a new band after the break-up of their band "Epitafio". After many achievements in their country Venezuela, such as opening for Sepultura, winning a big band-contest similar to the Dutch "Grote Pop-Prijs" and various performances on big festivals, they decided to move to Holland to expand their horizons. In Holland bassist Marcel Capell and drummer Jasper Dankaart joined the brothers to form the final line up of Agresión. Once settled in Amsterdam Agresión soon obtained the reputation of being one of the most energetic bands in the Dutch underground-scene. A small but loyal group of dedicated fans started to follow the band from show to show. Agresión has played shows in Paradiso (with Blood Sessions and Insolence), Rootaanhuis ( with Undeclinable Ambuscade and Beyond 93), Unitas (with Laberinto), in Amstelkade as headliners (with Neuk! opening ) and in N201 in Aalsmeer with several local bands. Agresión's biggest succes so far in Holland was a show on the main stage of 013 in Tilburg where they opened for Cypress Hill. Agresión's musical influences can be found in various kinds of music such as Rap and Grindcore. Their music mainly consists of heavy guitar-riffs combined with emotional singing as well as rap. Their lyrics are written by singers Alejandro and Juan Manuel and mainly based on random subjects of their everyday life, without falling into the fashion thinking of the moment. July 1998 Agresión entered the studios to record 'Silent Smile', their latest production. This album was well received by the media and in various music magazines good reviews appeared . Once on the streets, the personal and complex sound of Agresión seemed to generate positive reactions among the people. Meanwhile the band recorded a second album called 'SUR', still in 'crossover-noise'-style. The album's release date is the 17th of July 2000.
