Artist description Vladiswar Nadishana is a Russian musician from the city of Voronezh in central Russia. After leaving his course in film directing in St. Petersburg, he has pursued his own personal journey into the essence of sound and the action of music on the human being. His interest in 'sound sorcery' as he calls it is complemented by his interest in diet, ritual and the eastern yoga traditions which all form an integral part of his creative life-style. One of his philosophies is that life is a work of art and you can be as creative with it as you like. Since 2000 he lives in the biggest in the world ecovillage "Ecopolice Tiberkul" (http://www.vissarion.ru) in the heart of siberian Taiga. People are building here a new model of the alternative creative society. In the community he set up a creative reserch laboratory of sound sorcery, so called The Department of Sound Microsurgery. The Department of Sound Microsurgery (Conception) The Department of Sound Microsurgery – is a creative music research laboratory, set up in 2000 in a russian eco-village “Tibercul” in the south of Krasnoyarsk region. In the base of this conception lie the following ideas and supervision: ?Music – is the magnificent world of the mysterious and incomprehensible, that has its own inner order and certain law, which doesn’t depend on any of us. Very specific forms of space and time reign there, together with particular objects and processes leading to different directions of development and structural formation. ?Music indescribably influences on a human being, beginning from physiology and finishing the spiritual world. It causes a plenty of reactions and statuses - from movement of different groups of muscles to religious experience. ?The most important constituent of music is its mystical aspect. In the base of the sound, that our ear can detect, lies certain unaudible energetical material. This material just produces the impact described above. ?Music is not an entertainment, it’s a deeply influencing sorcery, without dependence, that we think in this occasion. It can be used both with constructive and, unfortunately, with destructive purposes. Be accurate … ?To create constructive, in all senses of this word, music, is best to studying all above-stated aspects of this art (if it’s possible at all).
