Artist description You won't find a more unusual group than The Rock Bottom Remainders. Their members include master of the horror story, Stephen King; humorist Dave Barry; author of "The Joy Luck Club", Amy Tan; mystery writer, Ridley Pearson, and a number of other well-known authors; and of course, the woman who started it all, Kathi Kamen-Goldmark. What began as a concert for charity in 1992 has grown into a band that performs benefit shows several times a year, and has produced a book about their adventures on the road entitled "Mid-Life Confidential: The Rock Bottom Remainders Tour America with Three Chords and an Attitude". Members of the band have contributed vocals to several tracks of a double CD entitled "STRANGER THAN FICTION", a compilation of songs by 40 well-known authors which benefits the Special Fund of the Pen Writers Fund and other charities chosen by the authors.
