Artist description
The Music is big on dynamics. There is lots of highs and lowswith sweeping vocals and harmonies. The guitar work is complimentedby a big drum sound and syncopated bass lines. The songs on Parker's debut ep "Laugh Like a Mourner" are 5 very different grooves. Each song reaches an emotional climax which is sure to draw the listenerin. |

Press Reviews
Newtown RSL April 24, 2000 - Live review. There was something about Parker which made me like them more than any of the other bands theywere supporting, but I can't think what it was.The excellent vocals - Jeff Buckley style? Perhaps. The way they had a go at themselves? Maybe. Their ultimate rock drummer? Could be. Nice songs, tight playing. Tops.
