    1. This CD is great! Big Guns is a Pittsburgh band, and if you haven't heard of them already, don't be surprised if you don't hear a lot more about them soon - very soon.Country music mixed with Rock n' Roll is what this band is all about and they get the job done. There really isn't a bad thing to say about this CD. All the songs on the disc are worth checking out. "Back Road Boogie" will have you tapping your foot like crazy, while the ballad "What I'm Asking Today," will have you wiping tears from your eye (well, maybe not that extreme, but it is a very cool song with some great piano work.) The last song on the disc, the title track, "Size Does Matter," will definitely leave you wanting more. All this great music from some very talented musicians and a hilarious album cover - what more could you ask for? Yee-haw!Bryan MullenRock n' Roll Reporter2.It's Country! now just hold on there partner, don't you leave yet!, it's Country, but it Rocks! Darn right, and then some! The Big Guns are fully loaded and blazing a trail to a town near you to bring you their fired up brand of country rock. Clocking in under 30 minutes seemed a little to short because I really enjoyed this. A very nice mixture of songs ranging from country/rock barn burners to sweet and sultry ballads to make you all mushy and teary eyed. The abilities of this group are far ranging and I can see that with a little more seasoning, development and a decent opportunity this group could really take off. I don't hear a lot of this music but I was certainly impressed with what I heard from this group. Hey, some of the best groups that ever stepped foot into a studio to record were country/rock, ever hear of the Eagles? that's just one example. The next best thing to being there is to listen to their CD, so stop by Degyshop and listen to some sound samples and grab yourself some footstompin', ass kickin' country/rock now! Have to wonder what that little dweeb on the cover is going to do with that big ass gun anyway? I guess size does matter because I'm not going to hang around to find out! -MuzikMan/November 27, 1999
