Artist History The Heligoats started as a side project of two members of the band You Stay Here, I'll Go Get Help. Initially, Chris composed several songs on his 4 track and sent them to Pat. After being struck by the beauty of these first demo tapes, Pat excitedly joined the project. Together they began recording songs that would later become the bands first ep, The Heligoats. Although Chris and Pat were happy with their creations, the band needed to grow. Two friends were enlisted to complete the group. Having Aaron and Jamie, both long time influences and inspirations to the Heligoats, join the band was a dream come true. Presently, the Heligoats are in the process of writing and practicing with the completed line up. The initial sessions have been promising and the new music is stronger than ever. The Heligoats soon will begin playing locally in the Chicagoland area and working on their first full length album.
