Artist description
Superdupe invents their own genre with a sound that can only be described as the ultra cold sound. This act features former Betty Sneetch and –turn- bass player numb as the primary songwriter and musician. Started as a side project, Superdupe has grown into the priority focus for numb. The debut ep, ‘The Short Method’ soundtrack, is a preview to the full-length album ‘Method to the Madness’ which is expected in the fall of 2002. The Short Method ep features a unique blend of sound and influence with hints of such artists as The Afghan Whigs, U2, Moby, Massive Attack and Primal Scream, just to name a few. In producing the sound numb called upon several guests that included States of Matter, Todd Mathis of rock act Capital, and Actress Meghan Sullivan. Other guests are expected to appear within the full release of ‘Method To The Madness’. |
