Artist description
Sound makes it way from that little planet called Earth causing an echo in space. The surrounding forces of physics crumble as the echo breeches all barriers of science. The stars and planets come alive and aware. The sound is there to be heard by everything.“An Echo in Space” is Setup’s four song debut EP. Four amazingly talented individuals, whose love for music has taken them to this point in time, crafted the material for the EP. Backtrack for a moment … Forming in late 1999, Chicago, the goal of the band was to create and mold a sound acceptable by today’s rock standards yet pleasing to their own musical souls. Crunchy, melodic, hook-filled rock songs have become the product of this creative project. Eight months of writing and strong dedication has brought a catalog of great material to the forefront. Which brings us back to the now. “An Echo in Space” is backed by an awesome live performance, fierce arsenal of songs, creative songwriting, and a strong will to bring their sound to the masses. From this sound, and echo will emerge … to be heard by the universe. Pulsing melodic energy influx, heavy grooves bellow, intelligent lyric - one rock band, “Setup.” A style of rock so emotionally gripping, so new, so fresh. Formed and written in a secluded, Midwest neighborhood. Compared to none, but encompassing all. For the first time, California has met the Midwest, and with a bang! A big bang – crunching and gnawing through the fabric of hard rock. We are now available. |
