Artist History Frustrated with mediocre hip hop that plagued radio stations circa 1997, SouL formed the Rhythm Hurmits.The group seeks to disprove the stereotype that the south is all about "ballin'" and that Christians cannot have fun and represent the highest quality of hip hop. The Hurmits establish themselves around (1) principles of living effective Christian lifestyles and (2) bringing the essence of the golden era of hip hop back to the few who understand the importance of the era ('86-'92 or so).
