Loved the section at 1.08 onwards. With all these kinds of tracks, it's the detail, not the overall whole, that can really make or break it - and some of the touches you add to vary the main riff are intelligent indeed. Least successful bit for me is actually at around 3.35 or so when it all comes back in again - it was kind of an anticlimax as it was no bigger than what I'd heard the first time it came around! There's a similar thing in classical music, called recapitulation - meaning, returning to the main idea - but the best recapitulation sections do something new, bigger, and better than the original. It's good ol' drama again...you want to keep exhilirating your punters, and the best way is to do more than they expect. Great mixes by the way - nice to see someone taking some care with the bass end."
