    Artist description
PopRobot Productions is a Seattle based on-line recording label with a small yet impressive roster of unique and talented artists. Using modern technology, PopRobot provides the tools, products, exposure, and representation our artists need to succeed and forge ahead in today's music industry. We distribute music over the internet internationally, utilizing the popular MP3 file format and specialized web sites, as well as the more traditional vinyl and CD formats. We take pride in our members and their unique directions in music, PopRobot encourages artists to stretch their imaginations and offer an alternative to the mundane popular music of today with our eclectic mixture of 'genre non-specific' and experimental sounds.
    Music Style
ranges from lo-fi indie-folky trip-hop pop & experimental sci-fi space rock to lounge-core - acid-jazz & big phat phunky breakbeats (with a few subtle dashes of comedy for flava)
    Musical Influences
    wide and varied...
    Similar Artists
some of our artists have been compared to... Beck, Elliott Smith, Sebadoh, Fatboy Slim, Moby, Cracker, the Pixies, Rolling Stones, and of course... the Beatles
    Artist History
PopRobot was established by owner/operator/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and musical alchemist, Dusty Haze, to help promote some of his own music and the music of his friends - whose eclectic styles and lo-fi production values would normally get overlooked by the throngs of commercial consumers. Dusty believes in this strange music enough to put countless hours and effort into getting it heard by as many ears as possible. The goal is not to leech money from the artists' work, but to create an audience to expose the artist to and enrich the lives of those lucky enough to experience it.It's all about spreading the good word!
