Artist History Mihal began performing at a young age in communitytheatre productions, among them musicals. She began playing piano at age 4, but didn't often combine her poetry with her music until she discovered the guitar, three and a half years ago when her brother acquired a new guitar and gave her his oldone. Best known for her captivating lyrics and intense and humorous performances, she began her folksinging career on the Israeli folk-circuit, where she was hailed as "the real thing." She recorded her first CD "Out of Context" before leaving Israel to relocate in New York.
