Artist History
Laren d'Or (Attila Heger) was born in Hungary, in 1969 and he was just 6 years old when his parents decided for him to take piano lessons. In the first time he really hated that instrument. Slowly, after two or three years it all changed. Attila started to feel the "power" of having instrumental knowledge and had a feeling that music was encompassing every part of his life, as if he couldn't exist without it. After spending 8 years in State Music School [piano & music theory], Attila began to address instrumental symphonic compositions containing classical elements. He also enjoys progressive instrumental or let's say industrial electronica as well. Still a teenager, Attila promised himself that should he ever decides to present his music to an audience bigger than the circle of his closest friends, he will take on the name of Laren d'Or, the lonely bard, his favourite hero. Attila Heger is a composer in a professional sense as well. For the last eight years he had been working at a game developer company as an in-house composer. During this time he took part in the developing of over 25 games, and he prepared many dozens of in-game and cinematics soundtracks for diverse computer platforms, like PC, SEGA Genesis, SEGA PICO, Super Nintendo, SEGA Saturn, Sony PSX, SEGA Dreamcast. Main video game soundtracks: Ecco the Dolphin - Defender of the Future (cinematic soundtracks), Ecco the Dolphin 2 - Tides of Time, Contra`96: Legacy of War, Contra`97: The Contra Adventure, Grossology, Lost World/Jurassic Park, Museum Madness, Star Trek - Deep Space 9, Three Dirty Dwarves, Tiny Tank, Wacky Races, and many more MIDI music for the US kidsite: Bonus.com. |
