Artist description
I am a self taught piano/keyboard player who was originally inspired by the recordings of Lyle Mays with the Pat Metheny Group. I still maintain to this day that during down or depressive times, when some people would take Prozac, I simply slap on a tune with a ripping Lyle Mays solo and I am instantly transformed into a better place.
Nowadays, my music has a distinct spiritual undertone which is directly influenced by the Buddhist teachings of Chogyam Trungpa amoung others.
Currently I am recording exclusively in my home studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I record directly to Sonar using very little computer gimicks except for overdubbing.
My main instrument lately has been a new Kawai 5' 1" Grand, which I do most of my composing on. |
