Artist description
This is a band of highly dedicated Musicians, who play a wide range of musical style. It is hard to stereotype our music and say its a certain type, but you can definately feel our influences throughout the songs, some of which are blues, rock, jazz, or just bluegrass folk. If you want to hear real music, like it used to be in the time of Dylan, Hendrix, and the Grateful Dead, without all the effects and recording tricks, you've found the right band. We're all versatile, each playing several different instruments. Group Members
Austin Davis , 16 year old reincarnaited African drummer who doubles as a guitarist, has unbeatable sound and feel in both his drumming and his guitar playing ; his sound can only be described as unique. Wayo Dorsey, also 16, plays lead/rythm guitar, piano, and sometimes even standup bass. He is kind of percusive at times, but can also be melodic. Jake Driver (18) is a great rythm guitarist, yet he plays lead with unbeatable stylings and sound that has lots of feeling and flare that is incomparable but somewhat resembles a Tim Reynolds feel. Wayo and Jake's alternation between lead and rythym throughout songs makes for an interesting twist to what your used to. The raspy, low, bluesy tones heard in Jake's vocals make for a great contrast to Wayo's high pitched melodic tones. James Chen (15) is a piano playing violin soloist who creates tones more powerful than imaginable out of a small hunk of wood. And introducing Dan Bui, former space ship pilot, now spends his spare time wailing on the mandolin and slide mandolin. As a band they have an unbelievable jamming capability and they mesh better together than most groups. All their music just blends itself into one great sound.Mark Mulligan (bassist) and James Koo (piano man) are the next two members that will be joining the band. We hope we can add these two talented musicians to take our music into a new level. Please check back soon for updates!! |
