'BLUESTONE' are an acoustic duo from Pembrokeshire, West Wales with Paul Eades on lead 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, harmonica, bongos and vocals, and Bud French on acoustic guitar, mandolin and lead vocals. BLUESTONE produce their own original and eclectic blend of self-penned songs many of which reflect the rich culture and heritage of Pembrokeshire. |

Artist History
Originally called 'The Bushwackers', the duo formed in early 1998. Following the successful release of their debut CD entitled 'The Tenby Lifeboat Man', to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Insitution, the duo decided to rename themselves 'BLUESTONE', after the famous Pembrokeshire 'Preseli' bluestones that were transported to Stonehenge thousands of years ago. Their self penned music reflects the rich culture, heritage and contemporary life in Pembrokeshire, Wales.BLUESTONE write, perform, produce and record all their own material in their own studio. |

Enthusiastic reviews followed the release of their debut CD 'The Tenby Lifeboat Man', in 1999 and their most recent CD "The Landshipping MIner"....Including appearances on national TV and radio as well as local press reviews and articles. The latest appearance being on BBC Radio Wales on Saturday 18 August 2001 with a live performance of "The Tenby Lifeboat Man".
BLUESTONE also played at the major Welsh festival "The Big Cheese Festival, at Caerphilly during the last weekend of July 2001.
