Artist History
Alan Winter, WB's lead singer/12-string guitarist/songwriter, started performing solo on the streets of Boston, MA, in 1996. Wanting something bigger, he formed an acoustic-rock 5-piece band in '98, but got so bored with that sound that he fell asleep for 100 years. Upon awakening, in December of 1999, he connected with drummer Mora; the two began writing together in a completely different style. Shortly afterwards they stumbled over bassman Stu (asleep, himself, in a fiield of poppies). The trio recorded a 15-song pre-production CD in June 2000, in preparation of their upcoming major recording project at the world-famous Fort Apache Studios in Cambridge, MA. |
