Artist description
Doom metal, mixed with deep blues, and noise - with a vocal style that's a cross between Howlin' Wolf and Tom Waites. Heavily influenced by Sabbath, with a little bit of Kyuss and Rammstein thrown in. Wall of Sleep is me - Dan Smith - always striving for, yet never attaining, the nirvana of sleep. I work the graveyard shift. I spend all my time either trying to sleep - or trying to stay awake. That's the mindset that produces these twisted sculptures of metal I call "Wall Of Sleep". |
