Artist description we are an 'electronic' 'pop' 'band'. electronic is in quotes because we use a lot of guitar, bass, drums, and human sounds that are not electronic. pop is in quotes because there is nothing disposable about the music, but it is approached with the notion that each song is a song, not an epic. the word band is in quotes because we are sometimes a band and sometimes a mess.

Artist History jeremy and melissa started underwater as their interest in rosewater elizabth waned. alec joined to play live drums. matt was added after completing remixes of original demos and working with the band in the studio sessions for _i could lose_, the debut album produced by Chris Vrenna (from nine inch nails a long time ago). we split with our label, RISK records and released a single on our own, featuring remixes etc. we are currently working on a new full length, to be released by our own label, sub:marine.
