Artist description
Radio Station Wagon pops. Which is to say, they rock with subtlety. Melodies, hooks and jangly riffs ease their way into your ear, and before you realize it, sink into your head. And this condition is induced with the amps comfortably set on 6 or 7. After all, they wouldn't want to disturb their suburban neighbors with disorderly rehearsals (that's just the kind of good folks they are). Radio Station Wagon is not a garage band. They're a living room band. Robert Langford¹s sparkling, sometimes twanging guitar provides the perfect accompaniment to Kathryn Rodenmeyer's aggressive strumming and casual vocals. Ron Rodenmeyer keeps the motor running with bass lines you'll find yourself humming days later, while Scott Colwell keeps the beat tighter than a pair of Sergio Valentés. Throw in the occasional blast of Moog and it all comes together like a party album for the sensitive kids. |
