Artist History Neil Cabana, the 27 year old entrepreneur, started NC PRODUCTIONS in the winter of 1998. Taking jobs for no money doing independent films in order to build his portfolio,he soon started in on some commercial work. Locally in Providence, RI, he has done a dozen or so projects in collaboration with SPOT VIDEO(401*453*6161). Also Neil has worked on several local film projects, such as Dan Reids "POP","Losing Jack" by Stephen Pratt & Michael O'Neil which featured in the Hollywood Indi Film Festival, and a local kung-fu film short called "The Delegate" . Neil has also contributed music and soundwork for Laura Collella in her Sundance screenwriters workshop opportunity. Neil picked up guitar at the age of five, and has played since. With his natural talent for songwriting, he began writing and recording his own music at the age of twelve.Filling the need for other instrumentation, he quickly picked up other tools of the trade, teaching himself other instruments. Needless to say, Neil has never had one musicallesson in his life....self taught, and now in business for himself with the skills he himself has honed, is seizing opportunties in the workforce.
