Artist description Midnight in a perfect world is a 4 piece indie/emo/alternative/original, rock band. Midnight’s vocal’s and back up guitar is David shichman. Lead guitar and sounds by Dave Tagg, bass, vocals and confedence by Max Bernstien drums and every thing in between by Dan Lupkin. Midnight has been together for 3 years. We spent the first half of 2000 recording our first independent CD entitled, "Special People Like Me”, and will start recording an Ep called “.competition. We are a dominent live act that constantly likes to mix it up. Its not a midnight set without a few jams. We like to say that we never play a song the same way twice. In the past few months we have had a great shows at The Elbow Room in N.Y.C, and the Voodoo Lounge in Bayside Queens not far from our home in great neck, ny. With a strong live set, talent, and great inernet conections, midnight is starting to build a nice following. We are all currently attending college near the N.Y.C area and play every month at least. There's not much more to say, I guess you just have to listen, carefully. Thank you

Artist History we've been together for 3 years with variose diffrent members...

Group Members Midnight In 1997:the original line up was Dave shichman on guitar and vocals, Dave Mintz on bass, and France something on drums. To be quite honest we had no idea how to play our instruments, which eventually led to me putting down the guitar and inviting Max Bernstein for lead guitar and back up vocals.Midnight In 1998With the disappearance of france (Rehab we think), the drums were quickly taken up by Steve Clements, who often disappeared also, which led to the once in a life time show at the Franklin cafe south with Drew Moss from the band Pants as our drummer. Dave Mintz moved on for lack of better talent, i mean reason, (no seriously, Dave went on to join station 9 another great neck band), so the bass position was filled by Dave Tagg, bringing the total Dave's to 3, that's 3....Dave T brought a lot to the band in terms of influence and commitment.Midnight in 1999With the disappearance of our second drummer Steve to rehab, again...We started to work with Max's brother Zack, who we have actually been playing with for quite some time. His style seemed right but his heart was never in it, so after a year or two he left us again. By this time David S was starting to play guitar live, adding a fuller sound.Midnight in 2000After 3 drummers Midnight is proud to say that we hope we found the drummer that will stay with the band. Dan Lupkin has been in the band since April and already he has added so much. Dave Tagg has moved to guitar for obvious reason, Max is on bass and Dave S is on backup guitar and vocals.
