Artist History Four years ago, God put the desire in Kristen's heart to minister through song. Since then she has performed anywhere there is an open door, from orphanages in Mexico to coffeehouses. Her heartfelt devotion to the Lord and her passion for her music is evident as she strives to be an inspiration to others. "My goal is to stir those who are in the church into a deeper service for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, and for those who are not believers... to help them see Christ for who He truly is, the Savior of the World." Cox's debuting song on MP3 (Wings of a Prayer, copyright 2000) is one that is very close to her heart. "I wrote this song to a friend of mine who was going through a hard time in her life, similar to a situation I had in my life... it's a simple song but it expresses my innermost feelings during the time of her pain." Cox has just recently moved from Southern California into the St. Louis area and has currently put her debuting CD project on hold. "It was hard leaving my church in California and my ministry had just started to take root... but the Lord is faithful to reveal His plans in His timing... I think I am going to use this time to work on some new material and find out where He needs me to go from here." Kristen currently resides outside of St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and three children.
