Artist History To steal a line from one of his songs ROBERT SANG WITH HIS SOUL , Carolina was "born by the riverside, where the the river empties into the Bay". Carolina has been playing guitar since he was 13, and like the character in the song his singing career began in a Babtist Church when a " seven year old boy sang a Jesus Song, while making his debut" , and he "sings with his soul like they sing in the South" . My first love is the song, he says, "without it the rest is just chords. If the song doesn't say something to somebody, why sing it".
