Artist History Antics is a legacy in and around the Midwest. Constantly evolving and changing to adapt to the times, yet never forsaking their blues and rock roots, Antics is THE premier rockin' blues band around. Formed in 1980, Antics has evolved from a simple, rock cover band to a hard drivin' blues-rock band. With their own original style being compared to such diverse influences as Deep Purple and Journey, and with guitar sounds similar to Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Antics puts forth high-energy blues rock well worth listening to. Of the five original members, three are still at the helm of what has become a blues-rock staple in and around Illinois. Immensely popular with fans in the Midwest, Antics went into the recording studio and produced their Debut album entitled, "We're Just Bad Boys." Antics produced a very fine thank-you to their fans. From the title track "Bad Boys", to the ballad "Heart and Soul", to the boogie blues tunes such as "Burnin' Up The Track" and "Chase Those Blues Away", the band demonstrates that blues aren't just for acoustic guitars after all.
