Artist description
Pablo, a born Jamaican, who came from the Parish of St. Mary began singing in the church choir and that's where it all started. At the age of ten he performed his first concert, which he says, "broke the ice!" Growing up in Jamaica, he listened to such American Artists as Al Green, Percy Sledge, and Sam Cooke to name a few. Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, and Delroy Wilson were among some of his top Reggae Influences. 1976 marked his Cleveland area debut with Black Lion, one of the area's first, and best, Reggae bands. After Black Lion came Roots International and then Roots Vibes. Around 1985 Pablo began his recording career with the New Chapter Reggae Band. |
