Artist description In 1999 the first Last Year demos began floating around featuring the songs "Game Over" and "The Anniversary Song". The band would play their first show that January in front of 250 kids. In the months to follow they would open for Bigwig, Thursday, Dashboard Confessional and others that would help their fan base grow. In April of that year, Goodlife Records finalized a record deal that would help them gain even more exposure. In June 2003 they headed over seas for the bands first European tour. They opened for their good friends and label mates Waking Kills The Dream (ex Morning Again, 12 Tribes). They played in over 7 different countries and shared the stage with Madball, Most Precious Blood, Blood For Blood and 80's metal legends Anthrax. The Last Year is currently touring with a new 8 song set list. This includes Consequences Of My Actions, Waiting By The Phone and a new version of My Old Friend. They are releasing a new song on the Radio Breakdown Records compilation "David vs Goliath".
