Label manager Piero Calvi-Parisetti has collected half a dozen of his own productions alongside some artists he recruited from MP3.com and the results are at times breathtaking. Two tracks stand out in particular. "Air Cushioned Finish" is the lushest, most blissed-out piece of electronic pop I've heard this year. "Ben's Trip" samples movie snippets of a women describing an out-of-the-body experience and wraps them in a bed of bubbling piano trills, a slow house beat and a dark, rolling bassline. The album melds world beat, Cafe Del Mar-style warmth and Freezone-style experimentation with surprising confidence. If you like your chilling both melodic and intelligent, this is highly recommended.
