Artist description Annadonia is a different type of alternative and modern rock that most people are used to. Styles range from strong upbeat tempos to even softer, more melodic ballads at times. Annadonia is attempting to distinguis itself with the range of music it plays from most other artists by bringing its own flare to the Albany music scene and beyond.

Artist History Annadonia was formed in early 2000 with the addition of Neil Mclellan to the band. Previous to this, Phil Curtis and Kevin Ohman, formerly of the band Backseat Mary, had been starting a project with Kevin Howard. All four of the members had met from different friends while at Siena College and beyond. From their first recording, the band layed down 5 tracks at Roxy Studios in Albany in Feb. 2000, of which 3 of the tracks will most likely soon be rerecorded in late Summer, Early Fall of 2000. Annadonia had played almost any venue in the area ranging from Siena College to Russell Sage to Valentines and even Saratoga Winners. The band hopes to continue this success in the fall and winter and has plans to eventually move to Neil's home town of Boston. After a long break from playing with each other Annadonia hopes to

Group Members Phil Curtis: A Leo from Hurley, Ny. Playing drums, guitar, and writing songs since high school. In 1997 Phil met up with The Goat to form the band Backseat Mary which gained some popularity around the Capitol District area before breaking up in 1999. The new millenium brought change for good as The Goat and Phil took on a new project. After jamming with Kevin "Head" Howard, and Neil McLellan at Siena College the boys pulled it together to form Annadonia.The Goat was born in a barn in Monterey Massachusetts, some time around 1978. He is a self taught bassist with influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to Nirvana to Jimmy Eat World to Black Flag. He was also a member of Backseat Mary until teaming up with Neil and Head to create Annadonia in late 1999. The Goat enjoys sunsets, the History Channel, and getting his head scratched. Kevin "Head" Howard: Coming straight from Hartford Ct, is currently a senior at Siena College. After working with hardcore bands as a 'band whore' he came to his senses and finaly settled in with Annadonia. His influences range from folk to hardcore. He's been playing guitar for 11 years and due to inability wants to become a history teacher. Neil "Doc" McLellan: Comes from the Boston Bay area and is currently a junior at Siena College. His influences range from Dave Matthews Band to Alice in Chains. He has been playing for 11 years, and after playing acoustic duos for sometime, took great interest in jamming with Annadonia.
