    Artist description
WHAT'S ON TAP FOR AARON T? We are Booking Fall and Winter Dates: Interested in having T. in your town? Contact: Robert Vane @RBV Management 562-631-3316 ------------WHAT IS AARON T ALL ABOUT?------------------------ It is a time when artists and listeners find the lack of substance in music annoying. There is so much focus on the "bling-bling," and not on whether an artist can "really sing, rap or play." Aaron T. does not front. He seeks to share his own evolution as an artist and a man through his unique music. It is a sound and concept that unifies the young, and the young at heart. It embraces the X and Y generations, and offers them an alternative soundtrack. It pays homage to the innovations of the past by studying and expanding. Listen and witness and participate in. . .The evololution of Soul.

All of this is juxtaposed against the backdrop of his spiritual sensibility and foundation in gospel music. This allows him a freedom that transcends musical genre. Like his contemporaries, D'Angelo, Maxwell and Eric Benet, T. focuses on the music and his ability to really play his instrument(s), nd sing well both live and in the studio. Aaron T. has been a performer (often the only unsigned artist), at high profile Hollywood benefits such as Dionne Warwick’s “Let Them Know We Care” project for abused children, and the “101 Foundation’s All Star Benefit.” These events included artists like Melba Moore, Earth Wind and Fire, the Emotions, and others. His activity in the community also includes tutoring and mentoring troubled young people. "This is just my outlook on life. In the end, it is not about how much money you make, or how many "things" you acquire. Its about how many people you touch in a positive way." A native of Queens New York, Aaron T. had a natural affinity for music. He began tinkering with the piano at the age of three, and by age six, he was accompanying the choir during Sunday morning service in his father's church. Shortly after finishing high school, he moved to Los Angeles where he joined up with friend, singer/songwriter/producer Chuckii Booker. "I sang background vocals and played keyboards with Chuckii, as well as some session work." This was the period in time where T.'s playing skills were honed. "Chuckii's godfather soul legend Barry White, was watching the rehearsals. We not only wanted to play well; we challenged each other to be the best we could be." T. continued his work as a session musician/songwriter/producer, working with a number of established artists such as Chaka Khan, Martika, Shanice Wilson, Dionne Warwick, Jermaine Jackson, and Vesta Williams. He also began earning writing and production credits working on projects for a number of unsigned artists. It was these skills and a "shy effervescence," says Kim Davis, a Hollywood casting agent, "that convinced us to hire him as the principal actor in "World Dance," the national Coca-Cola commercial directed by Cleo Award winner Bruce Dowad. But it’s the sound and the soul of the music that matters, not the labels attached, or the names dropped. Aaron T. says, “I just sing from the soul,” he says, "that’s how I stay real." And anyone who has heard his passionate delivery would agree. He is an explosion of high energy and emotion packaged in music. Remember his name, you won’t ever forget his voice.
