Artist description
from the onset, SADHU has been an artistic vehicle more than a commercial one. not that this is in any way a detriment... in fact, it has allowed SADHU to stay focused on making intelligent, interesting music. by matching distinctive songwriting with some of the best borrowed production/arrangement ideas from the last 40 years of the rock genre, SADHU has developed their craft of creating really good music. the music is intelligent and different. occasionally, pop music is elevated above a catchy hook. it becomes something that you listen to, think about, talk about and take into your own life as an integral part of your psyche. SADHU makes this kind of music.

"a great piece of expressionistic work. dark, darker, darkest!".....
art critic JEFF SMITH, on "the harry truman booth"
"THE REVOLUTION IS HERE!!! NO MORE FLUFF!!! Currently
in production is Sadhu's first full-length release,
"DARK DAY TRAIN." This album could very well be
the next "PET SOUNDS" or "NEVERMIND." Taken as a
whole, Dark Day is a narrative about coming of age
and the quest for purpose. In light of Sadhu's
earlier works, which have been compared to the
Velvet Underground and early David Bowie,
"DARK DAY TRAIN" is a collection of primarilly
Faville-penned songs that act as vignettes which
document the transformation from introspection
and cynicism to a more outward mission to change
the world. Taking solid steps into the genre of pop,
Sadhu has reclaimed rock as a vehicle for intelligent,
literate and artistic expression and a gathering point
for social change. This is the album Kurt Cobain might have made
had he lived long enough. The wait is over, the time has come,
and this is the call"......
