    Artist History
Music By Accident is a collection of friends who have played together for decades. Here you will find solo pieces as well as group efforts. There is usually a few projects of players in my studio at any one time. Special guests add the spin which sends us off in odd/fun directions. When we're good the music just happens, when we're bad it's at least a good laugh, often both.= New News: We currently are working on a few new CD projects (at once). We have a concept piece started (many tunes, one theme), a CD of our covers, a project of our new jams also a Camel tribute (6 covers+) and something for the Kevin Gilbert web site to host. Keep an eye open!

    Press Reviews
My 1st ever review had this to say about Diane, "Progressive rockers are going to flip their lids over Randy Hiatt's totally spaced-out, five-minute-long instrumentals. Listening to these songs is like drinking so much cough syrup that you feel like yo ur head has disconnected from your body and is floating over the crowd at an outdoor Yes concert." From: Instant Everything Radio (a mp3.com Station) about Diane, "Joytowner Randy Hiatt is the performer of this great tune, which is a dreamy, moody i nstrumental. Intriguing guitar soundscapes and melodic approach. Worth a listen!" From: Logic Audio Users Forum (a mp3.com Station) about Diane, "Layered acoustic or singing guitars creating textures like a taste in your mouth. Close your eyes and go wherever it feels good to be." From: The Weirdos are Calling (a mp3.com Station) about That Funny Jazz Chord, "I love this kinda stuff."
