Artist History
In the begininning there was Jonny Distortion and K man, alone on guitars and vocals. The songs were being written about their alter-ego's taking on a more and more darkened reality, which eventually resulted in a near death experience. Out of this maddness came their self-titled CD "Pneumonia" featuring "over the top" guitars and vocals, as well as, the sanity of the two artists.
With their new release "Burning Lungs", the drums and bass have been added, featuring Dr. Bombay on drums, and Marc T on bass, helping to drive the new songs of despair, and social outrageousness over the top. |

Press Reviews
With their new songs still pushing on the edges of sanity, Pneumonia has landed "I am not a Leper" in an independent full length feature film titled "April is my Religion". The film is written and directed by Bill Boll and is a coming-of-age story about a shy, nervous college freshman who believes himself to be devoid of free will. Bill described their song as: "Sloppy and bombastic, Pneumonia's avant garde "I am not a Leper" proved the ideal aural accompaniment to scenes of Jack meandering through a crowded arty in an intoxicated blur." |
