Artist description
we kicked the dancers out. now, we prefer "making music" but buttshakin'. since the beginning of 2002, 1-800-def is only holly g.s. and kaythee, who also produces and developes beats instead of walking thru the city on high heels talking about videoclips and mtv. maybe she doesn't look like a typical producer, but: she's in it! listen to her work on "kiss my supersoaker". a star is born. we don't dance anymore. it's just solid house music. without commercial influences. just in your face! if you don't like it, listen to bro'sis or play with the neighbour's children.
WE MADE IT DOWNTOWN. FUCK THE LOVEPARADE!!!

Artist History
The studio was built up in 1997, the year when 1-800-DEF was founded by Holly and AVS. "First we worked with analogue 8-track, 16 channel mixer, one compressor, macintosh sequencer and 3 effect processors." But now it became much bigger! Including brands like Lexicon, Neumann, Focusrite, Adat, Waldorf or t.c. electronic. |
