Artist description
The successful Canadian-based rock group On The Edge from Ottawa, Ontario has achieved the following: On The Edge's self titled debut CD "On The Edge" sold over 3500 copies. Crossed four broadcast formats (A/C, MOR, Rock and Country). Two self-produced and self-funded videos received regular airplay on Much Music, Musique Plus, Dan Gallagher's Video Hits and YTV. Song titled "The Beer Drinking Song" was featured in the Canadian movie "Harmony Cats", directed by Sandy Wilson starring Canada's own country sensation Lisa Brokop. Song titled "In Your Touch" reached #1 on various Ottawa Valley radio station countdowns (Arnprior, Renfrew, Pembroke, and Fort Coulonge). Song titled "In My Mind" played on regular rotation on Majic 100FM's Night Majic program for a three-year period. On The Edge extensively toured regions of Ontario, Western Quebec, and Northern New York. |

Artist History
On The Edge officially started in the summer of 1983 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Both Derek Jones and Brant Pethick decided to mix their musical talents and begin to form the band. Ian Lewer was added next to the group and Ian brought along Sean Potvin on vocals. The group remained the same for many years to come. |
