Artist description For the first time in history, a song completely derived, and recorded via THE INTERNET. What makes this project so special, is the unique nature in which it was recorded, and the fact that NONE of the musicians have ever met. Ric Arra (Bluesfuze) had wanted some way to jam with the friends he had met on mp3 BB so he made the suggestion to try an experiment via mp3.com and the internet. In early 2000, the process was underway, with the recording of the basic tracks (Drums, Bass, and Rhythm Guitars) recorded by Roy Cox and some members of the BluesKnights,Tony Saracene, Head Orona and Scott Ray recorded at DUB studios in Austin, TX. The tracks were then sent via the net to Shaky Tee in San Francisco, Ca, whom provided the sultry vocals and lyrics for Rolling Pin Blues. Next up, is Kevin Paul of The Stikmen, in Chicago IL. To provide his solo. From Kevin, it was passed to Jack Falk of San Jose, Ca. Who recorded his impressive solo. Mr. Falk, then passed the torch to Tom Gerencser of Halifax , Canada, who impressed all with his Keyboard talents. The flame again passed to Paul Cummins in West Covina, Ca. , for his solo. From Paul, the song was passed to Warren Von Kruck of Soul Shake in New York, NY., to place his solo down. The final stage, was sent to Bluesfuze in Islamorada, Fla. To provide the closing guitar work. All in all, the song “Rolling Pin Blues” found it’s way to five states, two countries, and the hearts of eight bands, in an attempt to bring the listener to a closer understanding of THE BLUES.
