Press Reviews
" Sometimes God isn't fair. People who sing as beautifully as Laura Thomas, shouldn't also be great writers. It doesn't leave much in the talent pool for the rest of us! Norm Hacking, Artistic Director Caledon Folk Festival. "One track was enough for making me want to try to review your album quite soon." ....."Den som overlever den fjolliga oppningslaten "My Little House" finner djupbottnande ballader som ofta vacker tanker till en Carole King. Pa titelsparet, "Dreams" och "Virginia" leds man in i en vackerat dekorerad varld. Det ar tillbakalutat, elegant, raffinerat......" Gert-Ove Fridlund Hallandsposten Onsdag 29 mar 2000 "Simple Things is a 47 minute treat for music lovers that's stuffed with intelligent lyrics, layered harmonies, pretty piano arpeggios, weepy harmonicas and dreamy strings" The Mississauga NewsJune 2000 " Simple Things is a well produced offering. I was really impressed with it's unique and refreshing original tunes. Laura is a quality performer, talented both vocally and instrumentally. I have particularly earmarked VIRGINIA, DREAMS and FORGIVE ME for their meaningful lyrics woven through haunting melodies. Congratulations! "Paul Coulter Colt Entertainment & Management |
