Press Reviews
Kinoeye is the newest project of ex-Shellsound guitarist and Free Times contributor Tom Stubblefield. Kinoeye plays abrasive but precise prog punk (or math rock, if you prefer), with an eye toward ignoring the rules of pop songcraft. The path is full of interesting guitar textures and rhythmic detours, but don’t expect any melodic choruses to come to your head-bopping rescue, because the band does not sing.
